Introduction. Voluntary blood donation refers to ”unpaid, non-remunerated” of by healthy people for those who require transfusion. Recently in Poland, there is an observed decrease the number donations which, among others, may be ascribed demographic changes and epidemics various diseases but also myths, prejudice misconceptions regarding act donating blood. The most objective source opinion on subject are donors themselves. study aim was explore opinions impact regular human body as well their experience related donation. Material methods. method a diagnostic survey used with questionnaire developed purpose study. consisted 6 closed-ended 5 sociodemographic questions. It completed 2387 (responders). IBM SPSS Statistics 20 program predictive analytics calculations. statistical significance established at p ? 0.05. Results. In responders (78.3%) one cannot get addictive majority (85.2%) believe that no increased production red cells (RBCs) bone marrow occurs result donations.
